What Parents Need to Know:

Before the Dance

• Dinner will not be served. Please have students eat beforehand. Snacks, candy, and drinks will be available.

• Costumes are encouraged, but not required. D97 costume guidelines apply. No inflatable costumes or backpacks, please.

• School ID + event wristband are required for admission. Phones will be checked in upon arrival and returned at departure.

• Sensory-calm time: 5:30–6 PM. Chill-Out Zones will also be available throughout the dance for students who need a break.
  

Keeping the Night Safe and Fun

School behavior expectations apply. Misbehavior = Music stops and lights turn on! No in-and-out privileges, the field is off-limits, and food and drinks must stay in the Commons. Parents will be contacted for early pickup if expectations aren't met.

Our goal is simple: great music, friends, fun, and a safe night for everyone!

We Need Chaperones!

Does your middle schooler NOT want you to chaperone? Maybe that's exactly why you should!

Seriously, we are expecting nearly 500 students to attend. A safe and successful dance takes a village. Please consider volunteering. Your student earns 20 Jaybucks when you do!

All chaperones need a current D97 background check, which expires every three years. To verify your status, call 708-524-3000. It can take up to two weeks to update your expired status, so please don't delay!
